National Alliance of Practitioners (NAP) is a community-first organization founded and run by practitioners to give us a way to reclaim our field from predatory, profit-first industries. Financial institutions and insurers are quietly reshaping health care to maximize profits at the cost of patient care. Venture capital exploits patients and practitioners through digital platforms, while insurance uses AI to deny coverage and micromanage treatment, underpay practitioners, and claw back pay without cause. While the system punishes practitioners and pushes us to burnout, NAP fights back!
Unity and solidarity are essential to the mission, and NAP gives practitioners a home through a private and supportive community of like-minded peers. While the value in the community is infinite, we are also racing to provide our members with alternatives to venture capital funded systems as well. Providing our own EHR and billing system and offering liability insurance are examples of projects in the works already. By delivering as many services as possible to members, we deliver value while weakening the systems that seek to exploit us. We know the only way to beat the system is to remove money from it, and so we will.

The National Alliance of Practitioners (NAP) is a for-public-good company formed and operated by practitioners designed to fight back against the corrupting influences of the present corrupt predatory system. With clear vision and dedicated focus, we will ensure the collective will of practitioners is the primary force shaping health care across the nation. We will accomplish this through aggressive advocacy, education, and, when required, litigation.

We protect practitioners by negotiating with insurers, challenging abusive practices, and fighting coverage denials and unfair payment clawbacks.

We help local leaders and partners organize effective campaigns rooted in dignity, lived experience, and shared purpose.
Public Education
Consumers need to be made aware of insurers' evil practices and the exploitative practices of venture capital funded companies in our field to make informed choices about how they want to spend their money.
